Beyond my artistic pursuits, I am dedicated to being your trusted companion throughout your wedding or elopement journey.
Christine and Rich’s Villa di Piazzano wedding photography session captured everything you dream about when envisioning a destination wedding in Tuscany. Surrounded by cypress-lined drives, antique furnishings, and views of the rolling Tuscan hills, they celebrated their love with intention, elegance, and the kind of slow luxury only Italy can offer. From the lace details in her veil to their private wine garden toasts, every element of their intimate day felt rich with meaning.

Tucked between Tuscany and Umbria, the Hotel Villa di Piazzano is a 15th-century Renaissance villa originally built as a hunting manor for Cardinal Silvio Passerini. Today, it’s a luxury boutique hotel. The property offers panoramic views, modern amenities, and fairy-tale settings for destination weddings. The secluded estate feels worlds away, with terracotta roofs, olive groves, and vibrant flower beds dotting the landscape. It’s the perfect blend of old-world charm and elevated comfort.
As a destination Italy wedding photographer, I love working with couples who prioritize beauty, intention, and a meaningful experience. Altogether, Villa di Piazzano offers an ideal backdrop for those drawn to rich history, refined hospitality, and a weekend-long celebration.

Christine and Rich made the most of this unforgettable location, getting ready separately in suites adorned with antique decor. Christine wore a breathtaking lace gown with a corseted bodice and cathedral-length veil. One especially meaningful detail? A delicate bridal robe gifted by her mom — trimmed with lace from her mom’s own wedding dress.
The couple explored the villa’s garden paths and courtyards together. They read private vows in a shaded ceremony space before saying traditional vows at a larger celebration back home. Their love story came alive in the golden sunset light with soft digital photography that captured both the natural beauty of the setting and their deep connection.

Every detail of the day reflected Christine and Rich’s thoughtfulness. They enjoyed a private wine and hors d’oeuvres reception tucked into one of the villa’s quiet garden patios. Their ceremony was quiet and deeply emotional, surrounded by olive trees and blooming floral arrangements.
And of course, no day at Villa di Piazzano is complete without a visit from Jack. The villa dog made a brief but adorable appearance in their portraits, a highlight of the day. Moments like these bring a personalized charm to Villa di Piazzano wedding photography. They also showcase just how magical these settings can be for modern couples.

Planning a wedding weekend in Italy? Here are a few helpful tips:
This location also places you near medieval towns like Cortona, perfect for pre- or post-wedding day adventures.

Christine and Rich’s gallery is filled with soft, romantic imagery. All in all, it’s a testament to what’s possible when you prioritize beauty and experience. Whether you’re planning a Tuscan elopement or a full wedding weekend, your photographer should be someone who sees the little moments and the big-picture vision.
If you’re dreaming of your own destination wedding in Italy, I would be honored to photograph it. My work blends editorial artistry with heart-forward storytelling to help my couples preserve not just how their wedding looked, but how it felt.
