Beyond my artistic pursuits, I am dedicated to being your trusted companion throughout your wedding or elopement journey.
This joyful Stinson Beach elopement day focused on celebrating Ashley and Anthony’s unique love. After a lot of thoughtful planning, this day turned out to be everything the couple dreamed of. I acted as the planner, officiant, and lead photographer for Anthony and Ashley’s elopement and loved working with them. Now, I cannot wait to share the final gallery with you!
Ashley and Anthony’s Intimate Ceremony
This couple wanted to celebrate their day in a place that’s both beautiful and special to their relationship. So, they chose Stinson Beach, California. Anthony’s grandmother has a beach house there, one of Ashley and Anthony’s favorite places in the world. Plus, the date they chose, January 1, 2024, was also their 10th anniversary.
The couple started their elopement day by getting ready together at the beach house. The hair and makeup team glammed Ashley up. Meanwhile, my second shooter, Morgan, and I captured details shots and getting-ready photos. Then, we headed down to the beach for Ashley and Anthony’s intimate ceremony.
It was a busy day on the beach. But, we found a quiet spot away from the crowds for the vow exchange. I performed the ceremony from behind the camera while Morgan documented the whole thing. Personalizing the ceremony for Anthony and Ashley was so much fun. I even included a line from their favorite Taylor Swift song!
Enjoying Every Minute of this Stinson Beach Elopement Day
After the ceremony, we got some couple’s shots that included Ashley and Anthony’s fur baby, Teddy. He is the handsomest boy and my personal favorite part of the day! (I might have an extra soft spot for him because he shares a name with my pup, Theodore). Then, Morgan and I headed downtown with the couple to their favorite bookstore, Stinson Beach Books. The sweet owner helped us find the perfect wedding book to use as a prop in our photos.
From there, we had to go to Parkside for the best pizza in town but chose not to dine in. Instead, we found a beautiful spot by the cliffs, and Ashley and Anthony enjoyed the stunning view as they ate. Finally, we ended their perfect Stinson Beach elopement day by playing along the shore as the sun set. In the end, they enjoyed every moment of their day their way!
An elopement can be an adventure, a daydream come to life, or a simple, intimate celebration.
