The Dream Location for a Glamorous San Francisco Elopement

This was such a fun booking for me. Aleighsh and Naill are from Scotland. They contacted me, your go-to California elopement photographer, because they were planning a destination elopement to San Francisco City Hall. And as soon as I got their inquiry, I was so excited to shoot at one of my favorite San Francisco elopement locations.

I love this historic courthouse for so many reasons! Since it’s a city hall, it provides all the ease of a simple courthouse wedding. Meanwhile, its stunning architecture transforms even the simplest ceremony into a luxurious and elegant event to remember. Early morning elopements at San Francisco City Hall are always an absolute pleasure to shoot.

Timeless Elegance and a Love for the Ages

On their elopement day, I wanted to make sure Aleighsh and Naill could fully relax and enjoy their time together. So, I picked them up from their hotel myself. This way, they didn’t have to deal with the stress of driving or booking an Uber on their wedding day. Then, from there, we headed to City Hall.

This couple booked me with my California elopement photography and officiant package. So, I had the unique privilege of performing their private ceremony from behind the camera. I love the intimacy of only having the bride, groom, and myself present for an elopement. There’s something so sacred about a ceremony fully and completely focused on a couple’s love for each other.

After Naill and Aleighsh said, “I do,” we explored the beautiful courthouse building. Along the way, we captured as many elegant, intimate, and romantic photos as we could. I loved Aleighsh’s timelessly elegant vintage look. Overall, these two were just stunning together and so clearly in love. Finally, we ended by getting some romantic shots outside with views of the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.

Getting to know this wonderful couple during their glamorous San Francisco elopement was such a joy! I have also loved watching their journey as husband and wife unfold back in Scotland.
