Florida Destination Engagement Photography Sessions

This Florida destination engagement photography gallery proves one thing I wish more couples understood. Destination photography isn’t just for weddings and elopements! Madison and Wesley embraced that and gave me the chance to capture their love in a truly individual way. With two sessions in one incredible day, this couple chose to celebrate their love story in a place that is meaningful to their relationship. And I loved being invited along for the adventure!

An Inspiring Morning at the Ringling Museum of Art

Wesley and Madison’s morning engagement session took place in Sarasota, Florida, at the Ringling Museum of Art. A stunning, historic, revival-style winter mansion houses the vast art gallery. The gorgeous 1920s architecture is vibrantly pink yet reminiscent of a Renaissance palazzo. Also, to my delight, the Ringling art collection includes a bronze replica of Michaelangelo’s David. Altogether, I felt transported to my favorite place in the world, Europe! 

We wandered the grounds, savoring the atmosphere and reveling in the sweetness of this couple’s love. From the views of Sarasota Bay to the incredible old-growth banyan trees, every inch of the estate holds glimpses of natural beauty. All in all, it made the perfect background for Madison and Wes’s timeless and joyful engagement photos.

A Romantic Evening of Florida Destination Engagement Photography

Later on in the day, I met Madison and Wesley at Madison’s family summer home on Anna Maria Island. This evening engagement session was more private and personal. Madison’s connection to this beach runs deep, and, as a couple, these two love spending time there. 

So, we made the most of the intimate setting and spent our time running along the shoreline. We chased birds, spotted rainbows, pretended Wes and Madison were stars in a rom-com, and, of course, captured all the romantic beach memories we could. From beginning to end, this Florida destination engagement photography experience focused on capturing warm, intimate, authentic moments of connection and adventure.
