Photographer Trade Shoot in Yosemite

Winning giveaways on Instagram is always so much fun! Especially when its a photoshoot giveaway from one of your favorite photographers!

Katie is such an amazing photographer and I had always admired her work from afar! So entering her giveaway was a no-brainer! (Yes photographer want photoshoots too!) I was so honored to have won! Katie and I brainstormed so many awesome ideas about our shoot together and finally decided Yosemite was #goals for both of us so of course it had to be our destination!

I asked if she would prefer to get content of us in our engagement season or if she would be ok with holding off until after we were married so we could take our wedding clothes to Yosemite since I was planning on doing that anyway! Of course she was down for that idea as wedding dresses in Yosemite is always the dream for photographers!

I asked if she would be open to a trade shoot since she was coming all the way and she deserved to have some fun photos while we were out there! She was sooooo down! So there I am taking photos, in a wedding dress, in Yosemite… I mean does it get any better!!!! We traded shooting each other and our significant others back and forth at both Glacier Point and Taft Point in Yosemite! It was literally a dream come true kind of day!

BEHIND THE SCENES PHOTOS:

While out in Yosemite hiking to Taft Point, we met THE most amazing couple! Evy and Jorge from Puerto Rico! They were a traveling photography couple visiting Yosemite and some of the nicest people you will ever meet! It was such an awesome experience meeting them and having the chance to also trade photos with them! Thats right!

We traded photos with multiple photographer couples! It was awesome! We literally were all taking turns taking photos of each other and getting behind the scenes shots and basically just having a blast! Best way to travel is with a photographer!
