There’s nothing quite like a Napa winery wedding to capture the essence of romance, elegance, and California sunshine. For Madison and Wesley, their V. Sattui Winery wedding blended timeless beauty with heartfelt connection. From tear-filled first looks to candlelit celebrations in vintage barrel rooms, this Napa Valley celebration had it all. Set against the lush vineyards and ivy-covered stone tower, their day was a perfect reflection of love, legacy, and joy.

The celebration began at the charming Harvest Inn, a nearby private estate tucked among redwoods and fruit trees. With the girls getting ready in one suite and the guys in another, the energy was already bubbling with anticipation. The redwoods outside their windows added a peaceful, storybook feel to the morning. Madison waited to put on her gown until arriving at the venue, wearing adorable matching pajamas with her bridesmaids for cozy pre-wedding moments.
Meanwhile, Wesley and the groomsmen suited up at the inn. His classic black tux and perfect timepiece stood out among the Napa Valley landscape — a true editorial groom moment.

At V. Sattui Winery, Madison changed into her romantic lace gown inside the venue’s iconic stone tower with help from her mom, sister, and sister-in-law. The room, filled with soft light and emotion, became the backdrop for memories she’ll treasure forever.
Madison and Wesley shared a private first look outside the tower, and then she also shared a heartfelt moment with her dad. Both first looks were beautifully emotional, layered with gratitude and tenderness. You could feel the depth of love surrounding them — a testament to the strong relationships they’ve nurtured over the years.

Before the ceremony, the couple took portraits in the winery’s vineyard estate gardens. Madison’s gown moved gracefully as they walked, and the sage green bridesmaid dresses complemented the natural tones of the vineyard perfectly.
Family and wedding party photos came next, as soft sunlight filtered through the scenic views. This time together grounded the day in presence, laughter, and a few happy tears before guests arrived.

The wedding ceremony was held just outside the tower, with ivy climbing the walls behind them. As guests gathered in the outdoor venue, the atmosphere was intimate and especially peaceful. Every word spoken felt personal and sacred. From where I stood, behind the camera, I could see the way they looked at each other — full of awe and joy.

After their vows, Madison and Wesley joined their cocktail hour to greet friends and family. It was a sweet, grounded way to transition into the evening celebration.
Once the light softened, we stole away into the vineyards for golden hour portraits. With vineyard views stretching out behind them, these moments glowed with both warmth and romance. The resulting images are some of my favorites — effortless, authentic, and cinematic.
The reception began with a private reveal of the event space, V. Sattui’s candlelit vintage barrel rooms. Rows of white candles lined the long tables, casting a dreamy glow that made the space feel both elevated and welcoming.
The band introduced the couple into the room to begin an evening filled with heartfelt speeches and wedding celebrations that had everyone in tears. It was a night of deep connection, thoughtful words, and so much joy.

As dancing kicked off, Madison changed into a sleek party dress and rejoined the party with new energy. Then the dance floor came alive with movement, laughter, and celebration. All in all, it felt like a joyful reminder of the beauty of this new chapter.

Finally, to close out their wedding destination experience, the couple exited in a convertible Bronco adorned with a “Just Married” banner. As their loved ones showered them with bubbles, they kissed through the open roof, an especially timeless image I’ll never forget.
Madison had said earlier, “I can’t believe it’s almost over.” And it truly was that kind of day — the kind you want to stretch out forever.
V. Sattui Winery is one of the few wedding venues in wine country that offers a truly immersive experience. With its Napa cuisine, stunning architecture, wedding packages, and Michelin-starred chef, this wedding venue balances beauty and hospitality effortlessly. Additionally, the outdoor venues and barrel rooms provide flexibility for both romantic and modern weddings.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue with old-world charm and vineyard estate elegance, V. Sattui is one of the most iconic options in Napa Valley.
Madison and Wesley incorporated their Florida engagement session as their guest book, offering a personal and stylish touch. It’s always such a fun way to bring your story full circle and infuse even more of “you” into your day.
Being trusted to photograph Madison and Wesley’s day — from first look to last dance — was a true gift. I loved every minute of it. Their tenderness, their families, their joyful celebration… it all felt sacred.
