Beyond my artistic pursuits, I am dedicated to being your trusted companion throughout your wedding or elopement journey.
The day started with the beautiful bride, Karly, getting ready at the makeup artist’s house! We all were there… the wedding coordinator, Haley, the hair stylist, Kourtney, the makeup artist, Saja, the videographer, Aydan, the groom, Nick and of course, me, the photographer! We all had our masks on as Saja and Kourtney got Karly ready!
Once Karly was all beautified, we headed out for the 2 hour drive to San Francisco! Our first location was for a first look and first set of outfits at the Sutro Baths! We all had to pee once we arrived so we made our way to the port-a-potties that were available and held our breaths and cheered each other on as we braved the horribleness. To get a break from the ocean wind, Karly put her dress on in a small cave within the rocks that surrounded the Sutro Baths with Haley’s help! We then made our way along the baths for some gorgeous photos!
Our amazing florist team from Strelitzia arrived on location about halfway through these photos! They delivered the stunning bouquet and then left with Haley to set up the ceremony look! Aydan and I finished the first location with some gorgeous shots of the ocean spray behind them!
Our second location was for the ceremony at Baker Beach with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge! Haley and the Strelitzia team did an incredible job setting up the triangle arch and small table filled with decor and the wedding cake!
Now it was time to get them married and say their vows! With the wind in her hair and the golden gate bridge behind her, Karly looked like the most beautiful bride!
After the simple ceremony, it was time for cake! Taylor did a fantastic job at making a gorgeous beach themed cake that matched Strelitzia’s florals perfectly! Without even coordinating with each other! Of course this led to Karly and Nick feeding each other and a seagull taking off with the champagne cork!
Post cake, meant for some posed and carefree photos along the beach! At this point, Strelitzia blessed Karly with the most beautiful floral crown! She looked like a beach goddess!
As the sun started to set, Nick and Karly had a little time for some splashing in the water after her romper reveal! Second Summer Bridal has the best dresses! Not only did she have two full dresses but her second dress turned into a romper! Made splashing in the waves much easier!
Ended the day with some cuddles with the sound of the waves and sunset views over the ocean!
Thankful for the incredible team that made this elopement happen!
